During the summer months, guests arrive directly at the hotel by post bus – and in winter, in the most romantic way imaginable: by horse-drawn carriage.
Together, Crusch Alba and Chesa Chasura offer around 20 guest rooms and suites, a restaurant with up to 230 seats, a wellness area with sauna and steam bath, as well as seminar and living facilities in the Chasura – including a private apartment that can be beautifully expanded for living on site.

While the hotel currently closes in winter, the infrastructure for year-round operation already exists. With the rising demand for alpine hideaways and retreats, Crusch Alba offers enormous potential for expansion into a full-season destination.

Next door, six new holiday apartments are being built in the Chesa Alvetern, whose guests will have official access to the Crusch Alba wellness area – a natural synergy that will increase visitor frequency and restaurant activity.

S-charl, though small and peaceful, is alive – with a welcoming community, endless hiking and biking trails, cross-country ski tracks right by the house, and untouched winter landscapes waiting to be explored.

Mitten im ältesten Nationalpark der Schweiz, umgeben von Arvenwäldern, klarer Bergluft und majestätischen Gipfeln, liegt ein Ort, der Menschen seit Jahrhunderten berührt: Crusch Alba & Chesa Chasura in S-charl.
Hier lebt man langsamer – echter – und im Einklang mit der Natur.

Der Betrieb wird aktuell von April bis Oktober als erfolgreiches Boutique-Hotel geführt. Beide Gebäude wurden mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und verbinden Engadiner Handwerkskunst, Arvenholz, Naturstein und modernen Komfort.

Im Sommer erreicht man das Hotel bequem mit dem Postauto, im Winter auf die wohl schönste Art – mit der Pferdekutsche.

Gemeinsam bieten das Crusch Alba und die Chesa Chasura rund 20 Gästezimmer und Suiten, ein Restaurant mit bis zu 230 Plätzen, einen Wellnessbereich mit Sauna, Bio-Sauna und Dampfbad sowie Seminar- und Aufenthaltsräume in der Chasura – inklusive einer Wohnung, die sich ideal zum Wohnen und Mitwirken vor Ort eignet.

Obwohl das Hotel derzeit im Winter geschlossen bleibt, ist ein Ganzjahresbetrieb problemlos möglich. Die Nachfrage nach alpinen Rückzugsorten wächst und damit auch das Potenzial, diesen Ort ganzjährig erlebbar zu machen.

Im benachbarten Chesa Alvetern entstehen derzeit sechs neue Ferienwohnungen, deren Gäste ein offizielles Nutzungsrecht des Wellnessbereichs erhalten. Eine wertvolle Verbindung, die zusätzliche Besucher ins Crusch Alba bringt.

S-charl selbst ist ein bewohntes, lebendiges Dorf mit unvergleichlicher Ruhe. Wanderwege, Langlaufloipen und Biketrails führen direkt am Haus vorbei.
